This is not the end but a new beginning in my professional journey to enrich the financial wellness of our esteemed clientele.
The intense discussions, engagement in the classes by fellow journeymen made for a great learning experience. I still fondly recollect Harminder chiding some of us to keep the video ON while he ensured that not a moment went by making one feel bored. Days passed into weeks and suddenly, behold – it was time for mock tests; which made my heart skip a beat. For a serial backbencher, tests are as bad as sitting on the dentist’s chair and I hadn’t entered a classroom (real or virtual) in over 2 decades.
Harminder set the pace for me and before I could realise it; I had cleared the first three modules. This followed the submission of a financial plan based on a case study assigned by the Board. By early November 2021, the plan evaluation results were out and there was one more hurdle to cross.
I feel humbled to say that on December 30, 2021, I accomplished the mission to complete my CFP (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER) Certification.

The journey started with Astounding and intellect way of coaching in evenings and mornings and subsequent push to self-study and assessments thereafter to check and improve our performance.
The morale got boosted after getting First Certification of Investment Planning specialist followed by Risk and Estate planning specialist and Retirement and Tax Planning specialist. Along with Festivity, this December has brought in another milestone for my career... Just passed CFP®️ final exam this December and I can't Thank enough a lot of people, but I will start with my Family first!
Last one year had been tough... Spending any possible vacation time, family time, weekends on study were a hard decision Mentally and Emotionally as well. For the last 1 year i had a daily schedule from 5AM to 8AM study. Then I had to engage myself at the office from 9:30AM to 6:30PM, Finally another session from 8PM to 12AM study!

I would like to share my success with all connections that now I am CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM. Certification is USA based qualification in the field of financial planning & Wealth management.
It took almost 2 years of continuous learning with perseverance to get this certification. it was not easy but had many reasons for getting delayed. sometime lack of confidence due to less preparation, unsuccessful attempt. But it actually requires frenzy fuel of preparation at least 4 hour a day. stealing 4 hour a day is not simple while maintaining work life balance.
It were not be possible without constant support from my mentor & coach HarminderGarg and IIFC - Indian Institute for Financial Certifications and my family. Kudos to Harminder Garg sir for giving practical guidance of making financial plan with aspect of critical thinking, Discovery process and Appreciative enquiry. Learning is an experience. Everything else is just information. In the field of Wealth Management if you want to be successful, don't seek success, seek competence.
During covid-19 when everyone was unclear what to do, how to start again when everything was just standstill, I thought let’s start learning again. It was never so easy to start again which require at least 18-20 hours in a week in practicing numerical questions and solving live case studies, doing online classes, reading for late night.
In one side it was tough in managing time while doing office work, client meetings etc. and while doing learnings, but on the other side It was more fun in learning from a bunch of successful, experienced & talented CFP batchmates who were from different industries & locations with different finance background and expertise. It was a unique experience which normally don't come handy when you work with same set of people. This took me back to college days competition, scoring marks better than others, Participating in debate and many more interactive sessions. last 1 year was very tough in terms of allocating time but It was very interesting and 360 degree learning, problem solving ideas & solutions from different finance professionals .

Last one and half year had been very tough, I had daily scheduled from 6 am to 8.30 am study,then I had to engaged my-self in the office work from 10 am to 6 pm and finally another study session from 7.30 pm to 10.30pm. But my wife SnehalDhatrak my Parents my kids stood Rock behind me,gave me enough reasons to continue and not give up any CFP Dream and here I am celebrating with you all.

After almost 20 years in Financial Industry, I started my entrepreneur journey in November 2020. Along with that began the journey of learning and implementation of these learnings. In the process, have completed the most respected global Certification course in financial planning i.e. CFP from FPSB, USA.

It was peak of Covid wave-1 when all of a sudden, we all were sitting at homes with almost nothing on “Things to do” list. Subscribing to OTT platforms was instant relief, but not long lasting.
