The intense discussions, engagement in the classes by fellow journeymen made for a great learning experience. I still fondly recollect Harminder chiding some of us to keep the video ON while he ensured that not a moment went by making one feel bored. Days passed into weeks and suddenly, behold it was time for mock tests; which made my heart skip a beat. For a serial backbencher, tests are as bad as sitting on the dentists chair and I hadnt entered a classroom (real or virtual) in over 2 decades. During covid-19 when everyone was unclear what to do, how to start again when everything was just standstill, I thought lets start learning again. It was never so easy to start again which require at least 18-20 hours in a week in practicing numerical questions and solving live case studies, doing online classes, reading for late night. In one side it was tough in managing time while doing office work, client meetings etc. and while doing learnings, but on the other side It was more fun in learning from a bunch of successful, experienced & talented CFP batchmates who were from different industries & locations with different finance background and expertise. It was a unique experience which normally don't come handy when you work with same set of people. This took me back to college days competition, scoring marks better than others, Participating in debate and many more interactive sessions. last 1 year was very tough in terms of allocating time but It was very interesting and 360 degree learning, problem solving ideas & solutions from different finance professionals . FPSB Ltd. - India (LO) Excited journey for the last 1.5 year i had a daily schedule from 6AM to 8AM study. Then I had to go to office from 9:30AM to 6:30PM, as working in manufacturing industry sometime I have to give extra time in my office which was challenging, but my mentor Harminder Gargmotivates me, which help to do regular study & now I got my certification.
